What's in a name?

Rainforest represents an ideal. The ideal is that the investment portfolio should emulate the admirable qualities of the rainforest. Such as its biodiversity, its supply to the world of useful products like medicines, food, oxygen, water and its perfect self-sustaining system. It is also a nod to where we come from and where we invest, Asia, which has much of the world’s tropical rainforest.

Research refers to our independent in-house research which is integral and critical to our investment process. An ability to discern between companies worth looking into and those that are not, followed by capability in rigorous and practical analysis, are our key advantages to conducting useful and effective investment research.
